The long awaited ability to attach files to tasks is finally coming to the Microsoft To-Do task scheduling program.
In the current beta release of Microsoft To-Do for Windows 10 Insiders, Android, and iOS, users can now upload images, documents, and other files to tasks so that they can be accessed across all devices that are logged into the same account.
Now when you open a task in To-Do, you will see an option labeled Add a File. This allows you to upload any files that is not larger than 25MB to the task. This file is then available to all devices that use the same account in Microsoft To-Do.

This is very useful when creating shopping lists and you want to attach images of products that you want to purchase. These images can be uploaded directly from your phone, an URL, or via the computer and will appear as small thumbnails in the task.

You can also attach documents that you may be working on, so that you can use them from other devices. For example, below we attached a Word document on our Windows 10 PC, which can then accessed and saved to our mobile device.

This feature is available in the beta builds of Microsoft To-Do version 1.49.1901 and greater on Windows 10, iOS, and Android.
